Literary catharsis

Having thought up of an intricate storyline for a book last year, I never got around to starting it off. I haven't found an ending yet. I don't want an ending that sounds far too off from the feeling of the story. That would alienate the readers. I also don't want an ending that would feel empty. It's unfulfilling. With what I have planned on the book, with the ups and downs, plot twists and turns, it would leave a bland taste. I will find an ending on the ride through the writings of these empty pages. It will be a fun experience, even to write it. It may never be published, but this has given me a reason to finish what I have thought of.

Oh, and I also decided to retake up the viola. I've missed the sound of quiet reservation, the slightly depressing and melancholic cousin of the violin. I'm going to order a viola from Australia. It's going to be a 16" Gliga Viola I. I have perfect confidance that I will retake the viola. So I decided upon a viola that would not sound like bollocks.

It's the first instrument he plays. I know he plays the Gliga violin. But it will give you an idea of what the "Gliga" sound is. I gravivate towards placidity.

Sup to those that still browse here. I guess I should give an lifeupdate thingabob.

Here's what I want to do, I want to be a commercial pilot (preferably bushplanes or light commuter/taxi planes: Cessna Caravan/Piper Navajo). What I need to get is a Private Pilot's License, an Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot's License, and a Class 2 FAA Medical Certificate. However, to get there is gonna be expensive, $34K just to get up to a Commercial Pilot's License, which isn't including the accruement of 1,500 flight hours that is needed to apply for a career as a PIC (Pilot-In-Command). So here's my plan from today until next year. I'm quitting my job at Safeway, because I only make $10.14/hr and it's just not cutting it for the dream of riding the sky.

Soooo, I managed to get a hook up from my friend who does custodial work. They get $12.50/hr and work 10-14 hour days. With all the overtime they get, they manage to make about $2,300 a month. Here's the plan

Get a job there (which should be a shoe-in)
Save up extra money from working there: $11,000
Save up all dividends (PFD+native dividends): $9,600
Get money that is owed to me back: $3,800
Work the summer as a firefighter/HotShot: $11,000
Total: $35,400 (which, realistically, will prolly be around $31,000)

At the end of the summer fire season, I'll head up to Fairbanks and get my Pilot's License, Instrument Rating, and a Commercial Pilot's License. After I attain those I'll move back down to Valdez and start working at that same custodial thing, doing the same plan and just rack a ton of hours at the start of the summer of 2010.

What a long and arduous road it will be

on many different things.

My drawings haven't been worked on.
My photography has been a blank slate.

I don't have a muse right now, nothing's coming to mind.

Hopefully it'll all change once I move back to my hometown. The longing of my town is mounting, since I know that I'll be moving back at the beginning of August. I feel so much happier there, knowing I spent most of my life there in the cold comforts of Fairbanks.

Well, I'll upload a few new poems, not really that much of good poet, or at least pessimisticly I don't think I'm that great.

D&D was awesome, my D&D cherry got popped last night. I chose to be a neutral evil half-elven ranger. It was 6 hours of awesome.
